The Obelisk of Slumber first appeared in the Burroughs region's list of traps on 3 February 2009, right before the opening of the Catacombs. It is speculated that this new trap will be available in the new area.
Purchasing info
It is expected that this weapon will be able to be purchased at the Catacombs trapsmith at a cost of 316,350 gold. It will presumably refund for 56,763 gold. This information is subject to change pending official availability of the weapon.
Effectiveness
The weapon is very effective against Forgotten Mice. It also catches Shadow mice without any penalty (less effective) or bonus (very effective).
