The Explosive Base is a useful addition to the arsenal of hunters looking to maximise the power of their weapon, whilst also keeping a reasonable attraction level. The cost (besides the 29,775 gold, of course) is the adverse effect this base's chemical composition has on one's cheese!
The jury is currently still out on whether or not this base is approved for use as a humane mouse removal device. Opinions tend to be divided most in areas where thieving, pilfering mice are prevalent.
