Scrap Metal is dropped by Scavenger Mouse in the Catacombs and Forbidden Grove, Hydra Mouse in the Lagoon, and was available among the Birthday Gifts. It is used in crafting Obelisk of Incineration, Arcane Capturing Rod Of Never Yielding Mystery, and the Ship.
Currently, there is no way to purchase or trade scrap metal.

Description
These jagged shards of scrap metal resemble the result of a steel mouse versus a drillbot.
