Satchels of Gold

Here are excerpts from my log showing Pirates drop gold in Harbour:

10:24pm
Jim Schweitzer sounded the Hunter’s Horn.
I was successful in my hunt! I caught a 4 oz. Pirate mouse from the Harbour worth 347 points and 2,754 gold.
The mouse also dropped the following loot:
Satchel of Gold worth 250 gold.

Organization of Loot

"unimportant Loot with just 1 or 2 lines of description" meaning non-cheese loot? Also, does the "main article" refer to Loot or something like an all-in-one article on a specific type of loot like Cheese?

Might be better if redirected to the Crafting page. Most of these are just pages with the description of the item and a link to the image.

Maps and keys to areas already have a this. In my opinion, it would be better to consolidate all of these into that page.

Basically anything not major enough to warrant it's own page should be centralized. For example, Susheese, Rumble etc, all redirect into Crafted cheese. And yes, most of those pages shouldn't have a single page by themselves but should be redirects to an appropriate page.
Regarding the maps, yes I do think they need to be centralized into something like the Crafted cheese page. No information will be lost in this way. It'll probably need a new name though. Map Pieces doesn't fully explain it. -- Grexx 09:59, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
Maybe something like Maps and Keys will suffice? --Mikeyco 10:09, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Table?

I honestly don't see any added benefit of having that table in the page. We already have the ToC to quickly get to where we need to go so why bother? Any other opinions? --Mikeyco 01:41, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Undid the edit. Please think through edits before adding them to a page. Leaving redundant information on any page gives it an unprofessional feel. Additionally, the table was removed rather than the sectionalized text because it does not allow for easy future expansion, and likely doesn't display well on smaller screens, as well as what Mikeyco mentioned, makes it harder to navigate as does not have a ToC (has to be read from left to right to find information, vs 2 step access via ToC). The page certainly still needs a lot of improvement as the current form is not very useful either, so if anyone can propose and perform useful changes, please go ahead. -- Grexx 10:48, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
