In the darkest corners of the Mousoleum lurks an evil so terrible that its very name strikes fear into the hearts of even the bravest of hunters. Its name is never spoken, only whispered, "Mouseferatu". When its coffin creaks, the land will shudder, the sky will darken, the earth will moan. It is then that you will know a Vampire is near...

The Vampire Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Mousoleum, Catacombs, and Forbidden Grove. They are known to drop Greater Radioactive Blue Potions in the Mousoleum.

Preferred Cheese

Vampire mice have been found to be especially attracted to Radioactive Blue and Ancient cheese. The former only works in the Mousoleum location.

Hunting Strategy

Shadow type traps such as the Bottomless Grave are very effective against Vampire mice. Alternatively, hunters can also use Arcane type traps such as the Obelisk of Slumber although they are only of normal effectiveness against these mice.

History and Trivia

Despite their rarity and difficulty, Vampire mice are worth much less than most Mousoleum breeds. MouseHunt developers have stated this was intentional so that hunters would consider them unappealing to catch. Hapless and Swabbie mice also share the same circumstances.
