This powerful collar encased in a fiery orb has a strong and magical hold on one particular mouse in The Marching Flame: the Gargantuamouse!

Arm this charm when you've reached a streak of at least 7 catches in the Fiery Warpath. If your cheese attracts a mouse, this charm will ensure it is a Gargantuamouse. Just be ready to face this draconic beast...

After catching the mouse, the streak will be broken and you should disarm this charm!

Location-Specific Effects

  • When armed after reaching a streak of 7 or more catches, the Gargantua Charm will ensure a Gargantuamouse will be the only mouse that can be encountered, but will not ensure that the Hunter will catch the mouse. Hunting with SUPER|brie+ is recommended to ensure that a mouse is attracted, as other cheese varieties risk a failure to attract.
  • When armed with a streak less than 7, the Gargantua Charm has no effect on population (and a Gargantuamouse is not possible), and is useful only for its power boost. However, as other cheaper charms can provide a similar power boost, this is generally considered an ineffective use of this charm. Since hunting with this charm guarantees that any current streak of 7 or more will be broken (regardless of whether a mouse is caught), and since the charm does not automatically disarm, hunters must be careful to manually disarm it after use to avoid wasting a second charm without a large streak.
