- Parental type traps such as the Nannybot were very effective against these mice. All traps with other power types were less effective against these mice. Since introduction of charms it was possible to use Nanny Charm to change any weapon to Parental.
- On 5 March 2010, Terrible Twos mice began to drop the Chocolate Birthday Cake Base as loot in the Meadow.
- On 4 March 2011, Terrible Twos mice were released for MouseHunt's 3rd Birthday Celebration they could only be caught in the Birthday Party event location where they were found to drop the Chocolate Birthday Cake Base as loot again. They also developed a sweet tooth for the Cupcake Colby cheese then.
- On 29 February 2012, Terrible Twos mice were re-released for MouseHunt's Fourth Birthday Celebration. They could only be encountered in the Birthday Party Celebration during the final stage of the cake rebuilding. They could only be caught 4 times with each cake rebuild. They were found to drop 2012 Birthday Gift, Party Charm, Spark of Candle Flame, and the Chocolate Birthday Cake Base as loot.
- During MouseHunt's Sixth Birthday in 2014, they could be encountered in the Dance Hall, where they dropped Party Supplies. Additionally, after a hunter had upgraded the Dance Hall with a Chaperone Table, this mouse could also drop Party Charms. Capturing a Terrible Twos mouse left an additional message in the Hunter's Journal:
- As the Terrible Twos Mouse approached my trap, I configured my trap to give the destructive mouse a time-out. I think it'll learn its lesson.
