I'm not interested in arguing as I have much better things to do with my time, like catching virtual mice or staring at my navel, both of which are more interesting than arguing with a disingenuous newbie over elementary reference paradigms. --[[User:Brossow|B.Rossow]] · [[User_talk:Brossow|talk]] 22:43, 30 October 2009 (UTC) |

Wiki Contributions
Invaluable Contributor |
In recognition of the excellent contributions that Brossow has made to the MH Wiki. -- Grexx 21:41, 5 March 2009 (UTC) |
Some notable contributions:
- Major revamp of the Main Page. (Dec 2008)
- Creating many of the templates in use at the moment.
- Major cleanup to the Mice page and creation of the Mice table. (2 Jan 2009)
- Creating and maintaining the Cheat Sheet. (10 Feb 2009)
RE Cheat Sheet
I realise you want this to be right, but i've been very careful in what i've done. How can I let you preview it before it goes up? If I knew how, thats what I would have done.--Amyarlp 14:30, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Click the "Show preview" button instead of "Save page" -- you completely messed up the table, so you were NOT "very careful" as stated. Go look at your old edit if you need to know why I'm less than happy about your edit. Sorry to be harsh, but I've got hours and hours of work in that page and even one character out of place can mess it all up. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 14:32, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Very sorry. I had been working on it for a long time, and hadn't spotted those slips. Will keep working though. Nearly got the whole thing up to date now.--Amyarlp 14:39, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- I also have an up-to-date table, but it won't let me edit anything because of the "lost session data" error. --Mikeyco 14:44, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, I quite liked Angus's pepper table, do you think it may be worth putting it on the pepper page? (top or bottom perhaps). WyndStryke 16:49, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
- All the info is already on the pepper page or elsewhere. When editors insist on adding information that's already found elsewhere in the wiki, it doubles (or more) the amount of work others have to do to maintain it, especially when there's an update like today. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 16:57, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Guide to Mousehunt
I've been working on a pretty large walkthrough of the game, which you can get here http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=ahwm9rm5zg9j_39fnmksqf2&hl=en. I spoke with some other people, and they said that you had a certain policy regarding guides on the wiki, but they weren't sure what it was. Do you want to post this somewhere on the wiki for people to be able to access it?--Kirbix 22:41, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Other people were mistaken, period. There is not and never has been any such policy. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 23:25, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Actually someone has already added the link to the guide into the wiki before you did. See here. You can also find suitable pages from which to link to it, much like how Rohan links the Pooflinger tools from the associated travel/hunting pages. -- Grexx 05:17, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Contribution Templates

Haven't been online in a long while. Just thought that it would be nice to have some sort of official contribution template. Would appreciate any comments/feedback.

- Looks great to me! I haven't been on in a meaningful way in a long time, either. Work and family obligations.... -- B.Rossow talkcontr 12:56, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
MythMonger Wiki
Hey!
Thanks for beginning the wiki for MythMonger.
We were planning to setup a wiki for MythMonger on our servers, the same way we setup one for MouseHunt.
We'd love your help, as you've done such an awesome job for us on MouseHunt. It would be silly for us to start again, so please consider sending us the database dump for this wiki!
Please message me on Facebook! =)

Mice Images
Hi! I'm not sure if you are aware, but all the mice images that are in your gallery on Photobucket display the warning that the bandwidth is exceeded. I'm replacing the links now, but I don't have some; like the Christmas 2008 version of Abominable Snow... I don't know if you can do something about the issue with your storage; this has been an issue for a while. -- Camomiletea 19:45, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Wasn't aware of that. Haven't looked at my PB account in ages. Amazing that the pics are so popular that they suck all my allotted bandwidth! I'll look into other hosting options this weekend. Thanks for the heads-up! -- B.Rossow talkcontr 22:46, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
(Undo revision 86013 by Victor.Song (Talk) QUIT LINKING TO MH SERVER IMAGES!)
And why not? Instead of being Billy Mays, explain, in a civilised manner, what the manner is. Is it that hard to do? EDIT: If you were so annoyed by it, at least insert a comment in the talk page or in the article itself. Victor.Song 22:53, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- It's been stated "why" a million times. I can't be bothered to explain it every time, nor should it have to be inserted as a comment in every article just to coddle those who can't be bothered to make themselves familiar with the editor's corner. And if I was being Billy Mays, I would have been silent; he's dead. -- B.Rossow talkcontr 23:05, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Pardon me, but are you...
...a god here? Referring to this of course. If you your are a god or the God here, then you could say so. You could say that it will be as you want it to be no matter what other people say. I don't like to waste my time so maybe you could point out why did you revert my edit. Saying "nuh-uh" after certainly non obvious revert is rude and against wiki/net-etiquette. --Nux 21:05, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- If I need to explain why you can't just keep trying to sneak in this change, I'm not sure I can explain it to you. I'm not a god here or anywhere else, but I do have nearly 3000 edits on this wiki, as do others who disagree with you (with only two edits in total to the main namespace here, both of which were immediately reverted) and other newbies about this inappropriate change. The reason for the revert is obvious to anyone who's been paying attention, and most certainly to you, so please don't act ignorant and surprised. --B.Rossow · talk 21:10, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- So? You have 3000, I have much more on pl.wiki, so? I thought discussion is about arguments not about position in Hal of Fame.
- And what "others" do you mean that disagree with me? Last time I read the talk page everyone except you and one more person said that the order should be almost any other then alphabetical.
- And pleas stop insulting my and your intelligence for that matter. Yeah I sneaked in RBG order without stating that I'm ordering in RBG... Now what I could say is that you are sneaking in some insults because you are not answering on my talk page but on yours. And if I would now better I wouldn't even notice this. --Nux 22:22, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
