The Winter Charm can be bought at the MegaBuy Mart Charm Shoppe for 600 gold and 2 Festive Feta, with no refund available. 15 of these charms can be bought directly via donating. During the Great Winter Hunt 2012, the charms could also be transferred via Giving to Friends, and could also be shared via Facebook status upon completing any of the six toys of the event.
During the Great Winter Hunt 2011, they could be bought at the Festive Comet Charm Shoppe for 600 gold and 2 Festive Feta, and could be refunded for 120 gold at the same location. They were also occasionally available as the Gift of the Day and as a prize in the Daily Draw.
During the Great Winter Hunt 2014, they could be bought at the Festive Ice Fortress Charm Shoppe for 2 Arctic Asiago Cheese, and could also be used in tandem with Magic Essence to purchase Winter Hoarder Charms.
Location-Specific Properties
During the Great Winter Hunt 2012, arming a Winter Charm alongside Festive Feta at the MegaBuy Mart was the only way to attract event boss mice from previous winter events.

- The Winter Charm was introduced on 7 December 2011 at the start of the Great Winter Hunt 2011 event.
- The charms were available to purchase at the Marketplace, and were also transferable via the Give To Friends option, until 31 January 2012.
- The charms were again made available during the Great Winter Hunt 2012. The description at that time read as follows:
