The Arcane (used in reference to weapons and mice) or Forgotten (used in reference to mice) power type is thus far exclusive to the Bristle Woods region.
Description
Traps utilizing arcane damage come from sources shrouded in mystery. The strength of arcane damage increases proportionally against forgotten mice, making the traps especially effective in the Catacombs.
Types of Arcane weapons
Currently, there are three Arcane weapons available in the game: the Obelisk of Slumber, the Obelisk of Incineration and the Arcane Capturing Rod Of Never Yielding Mystery
Effectiveness
Arcane weapons are very effective against Forgotten Mice, namely:
- Gargoyle Mouse
- Gate Guardian Mouse
- Golem Mouse
- Gorgon Mouse
- Keeper Mouse
- Keeper's Assistant Mouse
- Lich Mouse
- Ooze Mouse
- Reaper Mouse
- Scavenger Mouse
- Skeleton Mouse
- Spectre Mouse
- Spider Mouse
- Wight Mouse
Arcane weapons can also catch Physical and Shadow mice without any bonus or penalty, but are less effective against Tactical and Arcane mice. The only Arcane mouse to-date is the Acolyte Mouse.
