The Ancient Spear Gun is not sold by any Trapsmith, thus it is non-refundable. It can only be crafted given the proper ingredients.

The total cost of crafting only includes direct vendor costs. Variable costs in acquiring the ingredients are not included, such as the cost of acquiring the Shell Cheese needed to catch the Elder mouse that drops the Ancient Spear.
Effectiveness
The Ancient Spear Gun, being a Hydro type weapon, is known to be very effective against Hydro type mice while being of normal effectiveness against Tactical mice. It's less effective against Forgotten mice. Effectiveness against other power types is unknown at the moment.
