Radioactive sludge has accelerated the growth of this Venus Mouse Trap and given it what appears to be a healthy appetite for mice.




The Mutated Venus Mouse Trap is a crafted Tactical weapon comparable to Zugzwang's Last Move. Hunters who have not yet purchased Zugzwang's Last Move may consider crafting this weapon to save gold and create a more powerful weapon altogether with slightly higher luck until they are ready to craft the more powerful Ambush. Hunters may also consider this as an early investment as the weapon can be smashed again to obtain the Venus Mouse Trap Husk which can be used to craft the Thorned Venus Mouse Trap and subsequently the Horrific Venus Mouse Trap. Hunters may notice a significant increase in rate of cheese turning stale due to the high stale cheese effect, although this can be countered by pairing it with the Dehydration Base instead of the commonly used Explosive Base. It is up to the hunter to determine if they prefer a more powerful trap setup with more stale cheese or a weaker trap setup with less stale cheese.

Purchasing Info

The Mutated Venus Mouse Trap is not sold by any Trapsmith, and as such is non-refundable. It can only be crafted given the proper ingredients.
