Proposal for Standard Location Layout

Looking at all the location pages here, it's easy to notice that while there is a general layout for the page, other bits of information are scattered everywhere under unnecessary sections (see Training Grounds as an example). Given this problem, it's obvious that work must be done on making a standard layout that can accommodate everything that the page should require. I'll be using a slightly revised version of the Bazaar article as an example here since I regard it as one of the better articles in terms of layout and formatting (maybe because of its simplicity compared to other pages). Parts of the layout may be omitted if they're not required or available.

Sample 1 (Location with Shops and Trivia)
{{rtoc}}

The organizers of the Bazaar used to travel abroad with a merchant companion named Ronza. During their visit to the Burroughs region these quirky folk felt right at home, so much so that they decided to stay! Their newly constructed shops are now known across the Kingdom for their strange inventory.

Description and Requirements

The Bazaar is a location in the Burroughs region requiring a minimum rank of Grandmaster and the Ticket to the Burroughs Bazaar to enter. Various items may be purchased from different shops. Some items can only be purchased in the Bazaar.

Shops

These are the shops the can be found in the Bazaar:

Bazaar Mice

Mouse Max Points Min Gold Power Type Loot
Bionic 300 551 Physical
Black Widow 480 11 Physical SUPER|brie+ cheese
Burglar 1,420 1,251 Physical Brie cheese
Back Cover of Plankrun's Journal
Dwarf 285 526 Tactical
Gold 600 1,201 Physical
Granite 285 526 Physical
Mutated Grey 275 501 Physical
Mutated White 250 476 Physical
Steel 270 501 Physical
Zombie 2,700 2,701 Physical

Hunting Strategies

Hunters looking to find the Back Cover of Plankrun's Journal should bait their traps with Brie or SUPER|brie+ cheese in order to lure out the elusive Burglar mice.

Trivia

Sample 2 (Location without Shops, also without Trivia)
{{rtoc}}

The second floor of the Pagoda is where the Masters of the three cheese schools meditate and study. These Masters are far too wise to go for conventional bait. Instead, a hunter will need to craft very specific bait in order attract each master.

Description and Requirements

The Meditation Room is a location in the Furoma region requiring a minimum rank of Grandmaster and the Furoma Map Stitch to enter.

Shops

There are no shops available in the Meditation Room. Shops for the Furoma region can be found at the Training Grounds.

Meditation Room Mice

Mouse Max Points Min Gold Power Type Loot
Hapless 50 71 Tactical Ambush Trap Blueprints
Master of the Cheese Belt 7,200 901 Tactical Master Belt Shard
Satchel of Gold worth 1,000 gold
Master of the Cheese Claw 7,200 901 Tactical Master Claw Shard
Satchel of Gold worth 1,000 gold
Master of the Cheese Fang 7200 901 Tactical Master Fang Shard
Satchel of Gold worth 1,000 gold

Hunting Strategies

The Meditation Room is one of two rooms where crafted cheese is necessary for "successful" hunting (the other being the Pinnacle Chamber). Unless the hunter uses the specific type of cheese necessary to attract a Master, only the Hapless Mouse will be attracted. Due to the low point and gold amounts given by the Hapless Mouse, most consider it a poor use of resources to hunt in the Meditation Room without the necessary cheese – unless the hunter is looking to grab Ambush Trap blueprints.

Hunters must use Glutter, Susheese, and Combat cheese to attract Master of the Cheese Belt, Claw, and Fang mice respectively.

Things to consider:

  • Shops section will always be included even if there are no shops in the area. (Grexx)
  • List of shops go directly to their corresponding shop through the reference made by section names.
  • List of mice converted to tabular form. (Grexx)
  • Loot section is removed as it's now merged with the Mice list. (Grexx)
  • Loot will be relevant to the mice in that particular location (only listed if it drops in that particular area).
  • Hunting strategies are always welcome in my opinion, although they can be omitted if they're not available.
  • Bait Preference column removed to be consolidated into the Hunting Strategies section. (Grexx)
  • Trivia section is optional. Some people might be interested in reading them though.

Any comments or suggestions? Post here!

Mice tables for other location can be found here.

Mice Table

Playing around with the table and adding vertical headers. Suggestions on how to improve it are welcome!
