The Terrifying Spider Trap is a limited-edition Shadow type weapon released during the Halloween 2012 event. It receives a +10 luck bonus during Fall in the Seasonal Garden as well as the Haunted Terrortories, and also has a different description at these locations.

Dozens, no hundreds of tiny spiders must have created this huge cocoon, but why? Perhaps equipping it in the Haunted Terrortories or in the Seasonal Garden during Fall will reveal the reason. OR AUGH! That is a huge spider! That must have been what the massive cocoon was for! The sheer terror this incredible spider inflicts on surprised mice adds a fantastic +10 luck to your trap.

The Terrifying Spider Trap is not sold by any Trapsmith and is therefore non-refundable. It can only be crafted given the proper ingredients. This weapon was only obtainable as loot by catching a Swamp Thang mouse during the Halloween 2012 event.
