Throughout the years Wizard Zugzwang's creations have been spread across the Gnawnia Kingdom, being traded between experienced hunters and trapsmith. Zugzwang enchanted the pieces of his chess set to create a trap weapon capable of combating the clever mice in his tower. The pieces of this weapon come to life when a mouse approaches the trap's bait, the battle that follows is quick and decisive.

Zugzwang's Last Move is one of two Tactical type weapons readily available from a Trapsmith. It is the weapon of choice for hunters who wish to hunt in the Furoma region until they're able to craft the much more powerful Ambush. Also, those who purchased a Venus Mouse Trap will find that by using it to craft a Mutated Venus Mouse Trap, they will be saving money and creating a more powerful Tactical trap altogether, whether or not they go on to craft the Ambush (which has the lowest gold cost of any even moderately powerful trap).

Purchasing Info

Zugzwang's Last Move can be purchased for 415,000 gold from Training Grounds. It refunds for 74,700 gold at the same location.

Trap Effectiveness

Zugzwang's Last Move, being a Tactical type weapon, is known to be very effective against Tactical type mice while being of normal effectiveness against Physical type mice. It also performs less effectively against all other power types.
