Hunters are able to send and receive free gifts from friends.
Gifting was first introduced during the Halloween Trick AND Treat event in 2010 and allows Hunters to send free gifts to friends. This should not be confused with the gifts from the Festive Gift Shoppe, where hunters buy gifts to send, nor the transfer of supplies via the Give To Friends option. The Gifting interface was overhauled on 21 June 2017 with minor changes later on.
During certain Events, this page also hosts the Paid Gift Shoppe, where hunters can use gold to buy an unlimited number of gifts with no expiration on claiming them.

History
Gifting was first introduced on 20 October, 2010, but was soon removed on the same day due to server issues. On 21 October, 2010, Gifting was brought back. Originally, the limit on claiming gifts was 3 per day and the number of gifts available to send was dependent on the Hunter's Title, as follows:
Rank | # of Daily gifts to send |
---|---|
Novice | 3 |
Recruit | 4 |
Apprentice | 5 |
Initiate | 6 |
Journeyman | 7 |
Master | 8 |
Grandmaster | 9 |
Legendary | 10 |
Hero | 11 |
Knight | 12 |
Lord/Lady | 13 |
Baron/Baroness | 14 |
Count/Countess | 15 |
Duke/Duchess | 16 |
On 22 October, 2010, Novice ranked hunters were excluded from the gifting scheme and the send and claim limits were changed. Recruits and Apprentices could claim 3 gifts per day, whilst Initiates and above could claim up to 10. Recruits and Apprentices could send up to 3 gifts per day, for Initiates and Journeymen the limit was 4, for Masters, 5, for Grandmasters, 6, for Legendaries, 7, Heroes was 8, Knights was 9, and for Lords and above it was 10.
The current limits were introduced on 2 April, 2011.
During the Great Winter Hunt 2013, a hunter that reached the Festive Tavern level 3 upgrade could claim 15 daily gifts instead of 10.
