Cartographers are masters of patching damaged maps. Their rare skill takes a long time to learn and is often passed down from generation to generation. Although the hopes of finding routes to new hunting locations is exciting, the tedious nature of restoring maps makes hiring a cartographer rather expensive.
Hunters will find they need special Maps and Keys to unlock new regions and adventures as they travel the kingdom. Occasionally, a Cartographer's skill is required to repair damaged maps or obtain rare keys. In order to enlist a Cartographer's help, a hunter must provide the item they wish to have restored (dropped as loot) as well a payment in gold.
With the start of Season 3 of treasure hunting, Cartographers began offering Scroll Cases for area-specific Treasure Maps in exchange for Ancient Relic.

- 25 March 2014: Vacant Lot Cartographer was opened for hunters to purchase Rift Detector with Drained Rocket Pack, Exploded Lightshow, Inert Riftwood and 25,000 gold to access Gnawnia Rift.
- 29 July 2015: Cartographers no longer have wait times. Each map piece used to require a certain length of time for the Cartographer to restore.
- 29 July 2015: King's Gauntlet Floorplan is sold at Bazaar instead of Harbour.
