Overview

Afterword Acres is a hunting location in the Folklore Forest region.

Hunters require a minimum Rank of Viceroy and the Mythweaver's Guide to World Domination to access Afterword Acres.

Gameplay Mechanics

In Afterword Acres, a hunter is tasked with cleansing the blight off the area and gathering Poetic Plank which can be used in Epilogue Falls. With the help of 3 droids, a hunter can choose to Harvest Literary Log, Carve Literary Log into Poetic Plank, or Cleanse Blight. The hunter must have Literary Log in their inventory before the horn is sounded to carve them. Condensed Creativity will double log harvested and planks carved, but has no effect on blight cleansed.

The droids will get more productive as blight is removed and better cheese is used, and the bonus stack multiplicatively:

Attracting the Blight Bringers and Herbicidal Maniac will increase blight by 32 points irrespective of whether they are caught or missed. Only Rainbow Quill, received through the upgrades in Table of Contents, provides a chance to prevent the Blight from regrowing.

Welcome to the Afterword Acres, hunter!

This vast, verdant land is home to the mighty and generous Infinitree. This remarkable tree has the amazing ability to produce lumber willingly and infinitely!

Unfortunately, this big tree is in huge trouble. A terrible blight is being spread across the land by an invasive species of terrifying, tree-like mice.

Fortunately, the King has supplied you with some of the most sophisticated droids ever created. These miraculous machines are capable of doing any task you assign them to so you can have some collecting Literary Logs from the Infinitree while others are carving those logs into Poetic Planks. You can even assign some to cleanse this terrible blight and the more blight you cleanse, the faster ALL of your droids will work!

Once you've collected some Poetic Planks, take them to the Epilogue Falls to embark upon the next part of your journey!

Adventure Book

Hunters can complete the Fight the Blight and Save the Infinitree adventure in Afterword Acres.

  • When the Hunter has at least 1 Prolific Printing Paper in their inventory, the base's stats are boosted to:
    • 4,500 Power
    • 35% Power Bonus
    • 35% Attraction Bonus
    • 57 Luck
  • Consumes 1 Prolific Printing Paper per hunt
