The Burroughs is a region released on 4 June 2008.
It is located to the north of Gnawnia.
There are five known locations in this region:
- The original purpose of the Laboratory was to research the minor mouse problem Gnawnia was having. A few less than ethical experiments soon gave rise to new breeds of mice altogether. Now overrun with the very mice it spawned, few hunters dare to step foot on its grounds.
- Rank requirement: Master
- Map piece: Laboratory Map Piece
- The scientists of the nearby Laboratory would often come to the Mousoleum to harvest 'spare parts' for their various creations. This grim hunting location is now haunted by spirits of slain mice. The mice of this location seem almost unable to resist radioactive cheese.
- Rank requirement: Master
- Map piece: Tattered Mousoleum Map
- When the mice of the Burroughs overran the laboratory, the resourceful scientists created a fortified subterranean city. Unfortunately their creations proved to be just as resourceful and soon infiltrated the city.

- The organizers of the Bazaar used to travel abroad with a merchant companion named Ronza. During their visit to the Burroughs region, these quirky folk felt right at home, so much so that they decided to stay! Their newly constructed shops are now known across the Kingdom for their strange inventory.
- Rank requirement: Grandmaster
- Map piece: Ticket to the Burroughs Bazaar
- Pollution spewing out of the Laboratory has resulted in this hideous Toxic Spill! The Hunter's Title required to enter is dependent on the current contamination level.
- Rank requirement: Hero

History and Trivia
- 4 June 2008: The Laboratory was released as part of a new region, Burroughs.
- 7 July 2008: The Town of Digby was release as a new hunting location in Burroughs region.
- 22 July 2008: The Mousoleum was release as a new hunting location in Burroughs region.
- 26 November 2008: The area in the Burroughs region where Ronza's Traveling Shoppe used to be located became a permanent location known as the Bazaar.
- 4 February 2009: The Catacombs was release as a new hunting location in Burroughs region.
- 4 March 2009: The Catacombs was moved to Bristle Woods region.
- 21 January 2014: The Toxic Spill occurred for the first time.
- 18 July 2017: The Toxic Spill was revamped into a permanent location.
To move to a new hunting location within the game, click on the TRAVEL button. The map will show all your unlocked locations, as well as any special considerations of note in a specific location. It will also show the minimum rank required to hunt in that location.
