The Explosive Base is a useful addition to the arsenal of hunters looking to maximize the power of their weapon while also maintaining a reasonable attraction level. Its most significant drawback is the adverse effect its chemical composition has on cheese, hence it being the base often used by hunters in making Stale Cheese.

The Explosive Base can be purchased for 29,775 gold from the Meadow, Town of Gnawnia, King's Gauntlet, Training Grounds, and Catacombs Trapsmiths. It refunds for 5,360 gold at the same locations.
