Hollow Heights

Hollow Heights is a region released on 9 September 2015.
It consists of areas to the south of the Sandtail Desert, Whisker Woods, and Varmint Valley, and to the west of Queso Canyon.
There are five known locations in this region:
- A recent settling of sand near the southern edge of the desert has revealed a hidden passageway into an underground cavern.
- The Fungal Cavern is the site of an underground aquifer, a damp place full of mushrooms and poisonous plants. The walls are rich with Minerals and sparkling Gemstones that reflect and scatter what little light enters the cave.

- Topsy, turvy, left is right, up is down, can't make heads or tails of it all maze of epic proportions. Navigating the Labyrinth is simple yet complex. The strongest of hunters easily collapse to their knees in sheer madness trying and failing to complete this almost living structure. Even those that make it through have no better understanding of its layout.

- Built upon the ancient ruins of Mousu Picchu, this technologically-advanced superstructure of a city lies behind the endless, twisting corridors of the Labyrinth. Hunters must brave the mind-bending maze before entering this city in order to discover the secrets behind its multi-faceted society.

- A once long-lost civilization, now left in ruins. The magics that at one point coursed through the city have been released into the surrounding area, lending power to the environment. This power has created intense fluctuations in the weather and has attracted some particularly powerful mice...

- An archipelago of airborne islands that shift positions with the prevailing winds. This bountiful skyward region was previously cut off from the land-dwellers of Gnawnia due to the impenetrable magical storms created by Ful’Mina. Any intrepid hunter who possesses the Skyfarer's Oculus, a dirigible, and the protective Warden Stones will now be able to sail safely through the storms to this lofty paradise in the clouds.

History and Trivia
- 12 May 2015: The Fungal Cavern was released as a new hunting location in Sandtail Desert region.
- 9 September 2015: The Fungal Cavern was moved to Hollow Heights region.
- 9 September 2015: The Labyrinth and Zokor were released as new hunting locations in Hollow Heights region.
- 6 September 2017: The Moussu Picchu was released as a new hunting location in Hollow Heights region.
- 8 September 2020: The Floating Islands was released as a new hunting location in Hollow Heights region.
- 10 August 2021: The Floating Islands received the Empyrean Sky Palace expansion.
To move to a new hunting location within the game, click on the TRAVEL button. The map will show all your unlocked locations, as well as any special considerations of note in a specific location. It will also show the minimum rank required to hunt in that location.
