Overview
Bountiful Beanstalk is a hunting location in Folklore Forest region.
They require the minimum rank of Viceroy and the Tale of the Bountiful Beanstalk to access.
Magic Beans, Lavish Lapis Beans, and Royal Ruby Beans earned here can be used to purchase different type of cheese to use in Bountiful Beanstalk.
Fabled Fertilizer earned here can be used to plant vines to the Dungeon Floor, Ballroom Floor, and Great Hall Floor.
Gameplay Mechanics
The Bountiful Beanstalk has 2 sub areas. The Beanstalk and the Castle in the Clouds.
The Beanstalk
The Beanstalk is separated into "zones" which are each 20 hunts long.
The type of zone (Standard, Super, Extreme, or Ultimate) determines how many Magic Beans will drop per catch. Using Condensed Creativity doubles loot drops of Magic Beans.
Loot Multiplier on the Beanstalk
Zone | Loot Multiplier | Burning Condensed Creativity |
---|---|---|
Standard Zone | 1x | 2x |
Super Zone | 2x | 4x |
Extreme Zone | 4x | 8x |
Ultimate Zone | 8x | 16x |
At the end of each zone, you'll encounter the guardian of the stalk, Vinneus Stalkhome.
Defeating Vinneus Stalkhome will reward one Fabled Fertilizer and send you up to the next zone.
If you have collected enough Fabled Fertilizers you can plant a vine at any point of time to one of the rooms in the Castle in the Clouds
The Castle in the Clouds
There are 3 floors in the Castle in the Clouds, the Dungeon Floor, the Ballroom Floor, and the Great Hall Floor.
Each floor consists of "rooms" that are each 20 hunts long. The type of room determines how many and which type of loot the mice will drop, and how much Noise is added to the Noise Meter at every catch or at every miss.
If you reach the end of a room with a full Noise Meter, you will awaken the Giant and the Giant chase will be initiated. The Giant Chase adds a 2x additional loot multiplier.
At the end of the chase, you will encounter the Giant until you defeat it.
Defeating the Giant will reward Fabled Fertilizers and send you back to the Beanstalk.
Noise Meter
Each piece of loot raises the Noise Meter by one so your Loot Multiplier is how much Noise you will make per catch.
Failing to catch a mouse also adds to the Noise Meter, depending on the floor and the cheese used.
Loot Multiplier in the Castle
With no Giant Chase or the use of Condensed Creativity, the cheese and the room type determines the amount of Noise and loot drops of Magic Beans, Lavish Lapis Beans, Royal Ruby Beans, Golden Harp Strings, and Golden Goose Eggs.
Room | Loot Multiplier | Standard Cheese (+ 1x) | Beanster Cheese (+ 2x) | Lavish Beanster Cheese (+ 4x) | Royal Beanster Cheese (+ 16x) |

Extreme Room | 4x | 4x | 8x | 16x | 64x |

Hunting Strategy
Hunting Tips by Larry
I'm so glad you're here, hunter! Just looking at this place gives me vertigo!
The King's scholars have successfully written you into this story so now it's up to you to pen a favourable outcome.
Start climbing the beanstalk to loot Magic Beans. The beanstalk is separated into "zones" which are each 20 hunts long and the type of zone you're in will determine how many beans each mouse drops. At the end of each zone, you'll have to catch the infamous Vinneus Stalkhome before you can move onto the next one.
Vinneus has been guarding more than just the zones, she also guards the coveted Fabled Fertilizer. Once you get your hands on some of this wondrous, enchanted clay, you'll be able to plant a vine that will take you straight up to that intimidating Castle in the Clouds!
Rumour has it, that castle is full of valuable loot that the giants have been hoarding. Make sure to craft yourself some Beanster cheese before heading up there because the mice who favour it will drop twice as much loot!
Once inside, you'll need to navigate through a series of rooms that are not too different from the zones on the beanstalk. The mice in each room will drop a different item based on the room's type and a quantity based on the room's quality. Super rooms will have twice as much loot as Standard rooms, Extreme will have twice as much as Super, and so on.
Beware though, each piece of loot that you collect will make noise that will eventually awaken the giant. Once the giant is awake, it will chase you out of the castle and you'll have to defeat it in order to escape!
Make your way up to the Great Hall in order to face off against the big guy himself! Just make sure you're well prepared before setting foot in there!
Good luck up there, hunter!
