The scientists of the nearby Laboratory would often come to the Mousoleum to harvest 'spare parts' for their various creations. This grim hunting location is now haunted by spirits of slain mice. The mice of this location seem almost unable to resist radioactive cheese.
Description and Requirements
The Mousoleum is a location in the Burroughs region requiring a minimum rank of Master and the Tattered Mousoleum Map to enter. The Mousoleum is the first area that contains Shadow type mice, as well as some strong physical mice. These higher-level mice are much more difficult to catch, but offer much greater rewards than mice in previous areas. Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
Shops
There are no shops available in the Mousoleum. Shops for the Burroughs region can be found in the Town of Digby and Bazaar.

Hunting Strategy
Hunters have several Trap Setup Options for the Mousoleum. Shadow type traps such as the Sinister and Ambrosial Portal are considered a necessity to hunt successfully in the Mousoleum because of their effectiveness against Shadow type mice. Although the Portal traps are highly effective against these shadow type mice, the PartyBot is also a viable alternative and will, on average, earn more gold.
Cheese Usage
Radioactive Blue cheese is the only cheese that is consistently effective in attracting the The Shadow Clan mice that are common in this location.
Moon cheese may be used to attract more Lycan mice, which are comparatively rare with other bait. Additionally, Moon cheese eliminates the weakest and least valuable mice: Giant Snail, Mutated Grey, and Mutated White. Strong Shadow weapon is especially recommended when using this bait.
Undead Emmental cheese is the only bait capable of attracting the Zombot Unipire mouse. It also attracts the 'undead' mice, specifically the Ghost, Mummy, Ravenous Zombie, Vampire and Zombie mice.
Cheese such as Brie and SUPER|brie+ that are commonly used in other locations are nearly useless in the Mousoleum. The Indigenous Mice may be attracted to such bait, but hunters may expect to see a lot of failures to attract and cheese going stale. With this bait hunters should pick the strongest weapon of any power type, since the Indigenous Mice are weak to all except Parental.
Hunting tips by Larry
Brrr. . . this place gives me the creeps!
It’s dangerous to hunt in the Mousoleum, but the mice here come with a large reward for their capture. Mousoleum mice have a taste for Radioactive Blue cheese and can only be contained by a Shadow trap. Radioactive Blue cheese is made by using potions that Laboratory mice drop, and Shadow traps are available for purchase in Digby.
Listen closely for the howls of the fearsome Lycan mouse. . . these beasts recently migrated down from the North, and may hold the key to finding new hunting locations.
