The Laboratory is the primary place for finding the Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions which are used to create Radioactive Blue Cheese. Radioactive Blue Cheese is required to attract certain mice in the Mousoleum and the Bristle Woods region.

Hunting Strategy
+
Hunters have several Trap Setup Options for the Town of Digby. Hunters are advised to use the same strategy as in previous areas for the Indigenous Mice in this location because it should be enough. Hunters are urged to purchase a Shadow type trap before continuing their journey into the Mousoleum.
Hunters that find the Key to the Town of Digby in the Laboratory will be able to travel to the Town of Digby.

Adventure Book
Hunters can Find a Way Out of the Laboratory by catching a Dwarf Mouse in the Laboratory to obtain the Key to the Town of Digby.

Hunters can begin the Survive the Mousoleum adventure by getting Radioactive Blue Cheese or Moon Cheese.

Library Assignments
+
Cheese Usage
*M400 Bait Research Assignment - This assignment may require Hunters to track down specific items from Laboratory mice in order to complete it.
+
The Indigenous Mice can be attracted with standard cheeses whereas Limelight Cheese will only attract the Digby Dirt Dwellers. Nibbler mice have a preference for SUPER|brie+ and are only rarely encountered with other cheeses.
*M400 Hunting Research Assignment - This assignment may require capturing the M400 in the Laboratory.

Tournaments
Hunting tips by Larry
Welcome to the remains of the Laboratory, brave MouseHunter!

Years ago the King built this laboratory to research the unusual changes in Gnawnian mice. Unfortunately, a few of their experiments went wrong, flooding the area with even more monstrous rodents. The laboratory contains many mysteries, including that of the scientists who disappeared from here long ago...
+
Congratulations on finding the secret research facility of Digby!

A Dwarf mouse has been reported to be carrying the key to a secret mobile research facility. Hunt this Dwarf and acquire the key to a new hunting ground, as well as some new experimental traps!
+
After the Laboratory was overrun with mice, the scientists fled here. Unfortunately, it did not take the mice long to find it. The scientists now need your help hunting down the intruders!

A few of the mice here have also stolen vials of radioactive waste. This glowing goo is left over from experiments in creating more powerful forms of bait. It might be worth the effort to save some of these vials to see if they work the way the scientists intended...
+
Be sure to visit the Trapsmith in Digby to view its experimental traps. You will notice an extremely powerful trap called the DrillBot, along with two strange portal traps. These portals use a form of damage called Shadow. A shadow trap will come in handy should you plan on heading west towards the dark graveyard.

Location-Specific Effects
+
Digby seems to be the perfect environment for the rare Mole mouse. If you have yet to discover this breed, hunting for it here may be worth your while. A Zombie mouse has also been rumored to be carrying a tattered piece of the map. I fear this map may lead west, towards. . . the dark forest. I like seeing you around, so make sure that you’re well prepared before traveling into the wilds.

Charms
+
Recent tunneling by town offiicials has also uncovered some construction mice, who appear to be digging a tunnel of their own. Along with these new intruders, the Town of Digby now has to deal with the worm-like Big Bad Burroughs mice, and their smaller cousins, the Itty-Bitty Burroughs mice.
* The Scientist's Charm increases both the chance of mice dropping Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions and the quantity dropped while hunting in the Laboratory.

Shops
+
Anyone wanting to catch these new subterranean breeds should use Limelight Cheese, which is made from Radioactive Sludge, Curds and Whey and Living Shards. Living Shards are available, for a premium, at the Digby general store, but rumor has it that they were also once used for experiments at the Laboratory.
These are the shops that can be found in the Laboratory:

Hunting the Big Bad Burroughs mouse is risky, but could pay off big. Digby scientists report that a Big Bad ran off with a rare slab of Ohnoesium ore the other day, and I’ve heard that Ohnoesium can be very valuable to hunters. . .

Hunting Strategy

Hunters have several Trap Setup Options for the Town of Digby. Hunters are advised to use the same strategy as in previous areas for the Indigenous Mice in this location because it should be enough. Hunters are urged to purchase a Shadow type trap before continuing their journey into the Mousoleum.

Cheese Usage

The Indigenous Mice can be attracted with standard cheeses whereas Limelight Cheese will only attract the Digby Dirt Dwellers. Nibbler mice have a preference for SUPER|brie+ and are only rarely encountered with other cheeses.

Adventure Book

Hunters can Explore Digby to Unearth the Mousoleum by catching a Zombie Mouse in the Town of Digby to find the Tattered Mousoleum Map Piece.

Hunting tips by Larry

Congratulations on finding the secret research facility of Digby!

After the Laboratory was overrun with mice, the scientists fled here. Unfortunately, it did not take the mice long to find it. The scientists now need your help hunting down the intruders!

Hunting the Big Bad Burroughs mouse is risky, but could pay off big. Digby scientists report that a Big Bad ran off with a rare slab of Ohnoesium ore the other day, and I’ve heard that Ohnoesium can be very valuable to hunters. . .

History and Trivia

The Town of Digby was first introduced to the game when reports of "Strange earthquake activity in the Burroughs region" appeared in the news ticker. During the weekend that followed, a drill slowly started to appear, each day becoming more exposed. On the Monday that followed, the locked door appeared and the key was available.
