Overview
Draconic Depths is a hunting location in the Folklore Forest region.
Hunters require a minimum Rank of Viceroy and the Tale of the First Dragons to access Draconic Depths.
Gameplay Mechanics
Draconic Depths is divided in several sub-locations that do not need to be traveled to explicitly. The sub-locations are -
Surface
When hunters first enter Draconic Depths they hunt here to forge Fire Dowsing Rod, Ice Dowsing Rod, and/or Poison Dowsing Rod using three crucibles numbered from #1 to #3. Each one is of the element types - Fire, Ice, or Poison - corresponding to the similarly named mice groups. By spending 15 Dragon Embers, the crucibles can be individually rolled for another type. This rolling does not follow a predictable pattern and new crucible appearing would be of a random element. When a crucible is rolled, following message appears in the Hunter's Journal
"I used 15 Dragon Embers to reroll Crucible #xx from <Element Name> to <Element Name>.
Every time a mouse is caught, crucible may progress up. When the progress reaches 20, crucible(s) is(are) forged completely and catching more mice from that mouse sub-group would not take the number higher. Failing to catch or attract a mouse does not impact the progress in any way and the progress in a crucible is not reset when it is rolled. Additionally, if hunters enter a cavern with partial progress on crucible, that progress will not be lost. Condensed Creativity doubles the progress per catch and the base rate of progress for dowsing rods is mentioned in the table below.
Cavern
A minimum of one dowsing rod has to be activated to enter Caverns. Activating more dowsing rods of same type does not change the attraction rates of mice. It, instead, unlocks higher loot drop multiplier.
After entering a cavern, hunters get 10 hunts before the Cavern would collapse; however, the caverns can be reinforced infinite number of times for a maximum of 25 hunts each time. The only way to exit a cavern is to hunt there till it collapses. Hunters get a Replicart here that has the ability to replicate following loot dropped by mice.
The total loot and type of bait determine which mice can be attracted in the caverns. The ranges for loot are 0-99, 100-749, and 750+. Using Condensed Creativity doubles Fire Grub, Ice Grub, Poison Grub, and Dragon's Breath Opal in loot from mice and in Replicart™. When the run ends and cavern collapses, hunters get a choice to Keep, Burn, or Incinerate the loot inside Replicart™ depending on the caverns. After making this decision, hunters return to the Surface.
Flame Cavern
While entering the Cavern, if majority of rods activated are Fire Dowsing Rods, then the hunter enters Flame Cavern. To reinforce this Cavern, hunters need to spend 15 Dragon Embers per hunt. Only Standard Cheese and Fiery Fontina can be used here to attract mice. When this cavern collapses, hunters get a choice to either Keep or Burn the loot inside Replicart™. If they choose to Keep it, they will instantly receive all the loot items inside and if they choose to Burn it, they will instantly receive a quantity of Dragon Embers equal to the total loot in the Replicart™.
Ice Lair
While entering the Cavern, if majority of rods activated are Ice Dowsing Rods, then the hunter enters Ice Lair. To reinforce this Lair, hunters need to spend 15 Dragon Embers per hunt. Only Standard Cheese and Icy Isabirra can be used here to attract mice. When this Lair collapses, hunters get a choice to either Keep or Burn the loot inside Replicart™. If they choose to Keep it, they will instantly receive all the loot items inside and if they choose to Burn it, they will instantly receive a quantity of Dragon Embers equal to the total loot in the Replicart™.
Toxic Tunnel
While entering the Cavern, if majority of rods activated are Poison Dowsing Rods, then the hunter enters Toxic Tunnel. To reinforce this Cavern, hunters need to spend 15 Dragon Embers per hunt. Only Standard Cheese and Poisonous Provolone can be used here to attract mice. When this Tunnel collapses, hunters get a choice to either Keep or Burn the loot inside Replicart™. If they choose to Keep it, they will instantly receive all the loot items inside and if they choose to Burn it, they will instantly receive a quantity of Dragon Embers equal to the total loot in the Replicart™.
Elemental Dragons' Den
While entering the Cavern, if one dowsing rod of each element is activated, the hunter enters Elemental Dragons' Den. To reinforce this Cavern, hunters need to spend 75 Dragon Embers per hunt. Any bait among Standard Cheese, Fiery Fontina, Icy Isabirra, Poisonous Provolone, and Elemental Emmental can be used here to attract mice. When this Den collapses, hunters get a choice to Keep, Burn, or Incinerate the loot inside Replicart™. If they choose to Keep it, they will instantly receive all the loot items inside; if they choose to Burn it, they will instantly receive a quantity of Dragon Embers equal to the total loot in the Replicart™; and if they choose to Incinerate it, they will instantly receive a quantity of Dragon Ashes equal to the total loot in the Replicart™.

Hunting Strategy
Hunting Tips by Larry
G... g... greetings, Hunter, I'm so glad you're here!
We've discovered this awful place with caverns and fissures leading to something terrifying deep below. I'm afraid this won't be another fairy tale like your last two adventures. This is something much older, and much, much more dangerous!
Our most ancient legends described a place deep underground where all of Gnawnia's dragons originated... but no one thought it was actually a real place! We don't know much about it but one thing we know for sure is that we are in deep trouble.
The King believes that the Mythweaver is down there right now trying to amass an army of dragons to lead against the Kingdom. So we need you to navigate these terrifying tunnels, seek him out, and put a stop to his heinous plan.
The caverns below are a dark and confusing maze so in order to find your way, you'll need to forge some Dowsing Rods up here on the surface to guide you.
The King's best artificers have designed and built the most advanced droids ever conceived for this very purpose. These marvelous machines are not only capable of forging the Dowsing Rods but they will also accompany you into the caverns and load additional loot into their incredible new Replicart™!
Your job is to fend off the dreadful dragons that will no doubt defend their hoard while you're down there. You'll only have a limited time before the caverns collapse in on you... unless you can find a way to reinforce them.
G... g... good luck, Hunter, you're going to need it!
