Overview
Overview
Moussu Picchu is a location in the Hollow Heights region requiring a minimum rank of Grand Duke/Grand Duchess to enter. It also requires the purchase of the Moussu Picchu Climbing Route from the Labyrinth Cartographer or Zokor Cartographer.
+
PAGENAME is a hunting location in Hollow Heights region.
+
It requires the rank of Grand Duke/Grand Duchess and the Moussu Picchu Climbing Route to access.

Hunters control the Wind and Rain intensities in the area to lure out various mice.
+
In this location, the Weather determines the attraction pool when using Windy, Rainy, and Dragonvine cheeses.

Collecting Potions, Nightshade and Cavern Fungus
+
Wind Mice drop Arcanevine. Rain Mice drop Shadowvine. Those 2 loot can be combined to make Dragonvine.
During any stage, when arming Standard Cheese or Glowing Gruyere Cheese, Hunters will encounter Potion Brewers which are weak against Arcane, Shadow and Draconic weapons. Potion Brewers drop Windy Potions used for brewing Windy Cheese and Rainy Potions for brewing Rainy Cheese. Fungal Feeders are only available when arming Standard Cheese and they drop Nightshade and Cavern Fungus.
+
Dragonvine Mice drop Dragon Scale needed to purchase most shop items.

For each Wind and Rain, there are 4 different intensities.
+
Weather Mechanic
With a certain intensity at Max, using your Fire Bowl Fuel increases the drop rate of potions for that side which is at Max.
+
In this location, a Weather mechanic is used.
+
*There are 2 meters, Wind and Rain, which have their intensity measured in "%".
+
**The range is 0 - 100%.
+
**The intensity can be divided to 4 levels:
+
***Low: 0 - 34%
+
***Medium: 35 - 79%
+
***High: 80 - 99%
+
***Max: 100%
+
*The outcome of each hunt affects the intensities.
+
**Catching a Wind Wanderer increases Wind intensity by 3% and decreases Rain intensity by 3%.
+
**Catching a Rain Roamer increases Rain intensity by 3% and decreases Wind intensity by 3%.
+
**Catching a Storm Dragon increases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
+
**Catching a Fungal Feeder or Potion Brewer decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
+
**Failing to attract a mouse decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
+
**Failing to catch a mouse decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 2%, with some exceptions:
+
***Failing to catch a Wind Warrior decreases Wind intensity by 10% instead of 2%.
+
***Failing to catch a Rainmancer decreases Rain intensity by 10% instead of 2%.
+
***Failing to catch a Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 15% instead of 2%.
+
*The weather intensities determines the attraction pool.
+
**Wind intensity determines Wind Wanderer attraction pool.
+
**Rain intensity determines Rain Roamer attraction pool.
+
**Storm intensity, which is the lower intensity between Wind and Rain, determines Storm Dragon attraction pool.
+
*Using Fire Bowl Fuel prevents the intensities from decreasing.

When arming Standard Cheese or Glowing Gruyere Cheese without using any Fire Bowl Fuel while either Rain or Wind is at a non-zero intensity, both intensities will drop by 3%.

Collecting Vines
+
Mice
There are two groups of mice that drop vines. Windy Cheese attracts Wind Wanderers who drop Arcanevines and are weakest against Arcane weapons. Rainy Cheese attracts Rain Roamers who drop Shadowvines and are weakest against Shadow weapons.
+
All mice found in PAGENAME are part of Moussu Picchu Inhabitants mouse group.

For each Wind and Rain, there are 4 different intensities.
+
Standard Cheese and Glowing Gruyere Mice
*Low: 0%-34%
+
When using Standard Cheese and Glowing Gruyere, the Hunter can attract Fungal Feeder and Potion Brewer sub-groups.
*Medium: 35%-79%
+
Shadow, Arcane, and Draconic power types are effective against these mice.
*High: 80%-99%

*Max: 100%

Every mouse caught increases the corresponding side's intensity by 3%. Most failure to catch will drop the corresponding side's intensity by 2%. Only failure to catch Rainmancer or Wind Warrior will drop the corresponding intensity by 10%. Every hunt using a cheese not of the corresponding intensity drops it by 3%.
+
Fungal Feeder drop Cavern Fungus and Nightshade, which can be used to create Glowing Gruyere.
Failure to attract drops both intensities by 3%.
+
Potion Brewer drop Rainy Potion and Windy Potion needed to brew Rainy Cheese and Windy Cheese.

The Mice population varies at each intensity. The Higher the intensity, the greater amount of either Arcanevines or Shadowvines dropped.

Hunting with Dragonvine Cheese
+
! width=70 | Points
Hunters will craft Dragonvine Cheese using the vines collected. Dragonvine Cheese attracts Storm Dragons who drop Minerals and Dragon Scales and are weak against Draconic weapons.

! Sub-group
The Mice population when hunting with Dragonvine Cheese varies too and depends on whichever side's intensity is lower. Every Storm Dragon caught increases both intensities by 3%. Most failure to catch will drop the both sides' intensity by 2%. Only failure to catch Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen will drop the both sides' intensities by 15%.

HUD
+
| 30,000
The HUD shows the Hunter's Wind and Rain intensities in 2 separate meters. When Hunters first enter Moussu Picchu, the default intensity for both is 0%.
+
  | 2,000

+
| Fungal Feeder
Upon arming either Standard Cheese, Glowing Gruyere Cheese, Windy Cheese, Rainy Cheese or Dragonvine Cheese, the corresponding meters on the HUD will display an arrow indicating whether that side is increasing or decreasing. Using Fire Bowl Fuel will result in a "pause sign" for the side that you are currently not arming cheese for.

Mice - Windy Cheese
Dragonvine Mice
Wind Wanderer mice can be found when hunting with Windy Cheese.
+
Dragonvine Cheese attracts Storm Dragon mice.
Wind Wanderers drop Arcanevine , which can be used to create Dragonvine Cheese.
+
Draconic is the only power type working against these mice.

The intensity of the Wind will affect the attraction of these mice.
+
These mice drop Dragon Scale, which can be used to spend in the shops.
*Each successful catch will increase the intensity of the Wind by 3%.

*A Failure to Attract or a Failure to Catch will reduce the Wind intensity by 3% unless the Hunter's Fire Bowl is lit.

*A Failure to Catch of the Wind Warrior Mouse will reduce the Wind intensity by 10% unless the Hunter's Fire Bowl is lit.

*Hunting with any cheese other than Windy Cheese or Dragonvine Cheese will reduce the Wind intensity by 3% unless the Hunter's Fire Bowl is lit.

Arcane weapons are very effective against these mice.
+
The attraction pool is determined by the Storm intensity.
Shadow weapons are of normal effectiveness against these mice.
Draconic weapons are less effective against these mice.

Cheese Preference and Loot
+
Catching these mice increases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
Windy Cheese will attract all Wind Wanderer mice, but the Wind intensity determines which mice are available.
+
Failing to catch a mouse decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 2%, except:
+
Failing to catch Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 15%.

Cheese Preference and Loot
Dragonvine Cheese will attract all Storm Dragon mice, but the Wind and Rain intensity determines which mice are available.
The table below shows the mice availability when both weather effects are in the same range. When the Rain and Wind intensities are not in the same range, the lowest weather effect will determine which mice are available.

*Example: Thunder Strike and Violet Stormchild will be present when either Rain or Wind intensity is Low, regardless of the other weather effect's intensity.

Shadow, Arcane, and Draconic weapons are effective against Fungal Feeders and Potion Brewers.
+
Hunting Tips by Larry
Hunters who wish to collect Cavern Fungus and Nightshade for crafting Glowing Gruyere Cheese should use Standard Cheese to attract Fungal Feeders. SB also attracts Nightshade Maiden Mouse, which drops more Cavern Fungus and Nightshade than other mice.
Hunters who wish to collect Rainy Potions and Windy Potions for brewing Rainy Cheese and Windy Cheese should use Standard Cheese or Glowing Gruyere Cheese to attract Potion Brewers. Glowing Gruyere Cheese also attracts Homeopathic Apothecary, which can drop Rainy Potion, Windy Potion and Fire Bowl Fuel.

Shadowvine and Arcanevine are used to craft Dragonvine Cheese.

Hunters who wish to collect Shadowvine should use Rainy Cheese to attract Rain Roamers. Shadow weapons are very effective against Rain Roamers. Mice found in higher Rain intensity drop more Shadowvine, so it is recommended to collect a large stash of Rainy Cheese before starting to collect Shadowvine. Rainmancer Mouse is the only mouse available at 100% Rain Intensity with Rainy Cheese and drops the most Shadowvine, with possible additional loot of Dragonbane Charm and Fire Bowl Fuel. Hunters who wish to maximize Shadowvine collection may use Fire Bowl Fuel to maintain 100% Rain Intensity.

Hunters who wish to collect Arcanevine should use Windy Cheese to attract Wind Wanderers. Arcane weapons are very effective against Wind Wanderers. Mice found in higher Rain intensity drop more Arcanevine, so it is recommended to collect a large stash of Windy Cheese before starting to collect Arcanevine. Wind Warrior Mouse is the only mouse available at 100% Wind Intensity with Windy Cheese and drops the most Arcanevine, with possible additional loot of Dragonbane Charm and Fire Bowl Fuel. Hunters who wish to maximize Arcanevine collection may use Fire Bowl Fuel to maintain 100% Wind Intensity.
Hunters who wish to collect Dragon Scales should use Dragonvine Cheese to attract Storm Dragons. Draconic weapons are required to catch Storm Dragons. Mice found in higher Storm intensity drop more Dragon Scale, so it is recommended to collect a large stash of Dragonvine Cheese before starting to collect Dragon Scale. Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen is the only mouse available at 100% Storm Intensity with Dragonvine Cheese and drops the most Dragon Scale, with a wide range of possible additional loot including Ful'Mina's Tooth, which is used in crafting Storm Wrought Ballista Trap and Dragon Slayer Cannon. Hunters who wish to maximize Dragon Scale collection may use Fire Bowl Fuel to maintain 100% Storm Intensity.

Hunters who wish to reach 100% Storm Intensity for maximizing attraction rate of Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen can equip either Rainy Cheese or Windy Cheese to 100% Rain or Wind Intensity, then change to Windy Cheese or Rainy Cheese until Rain and Wind Intensities are almost equal, and finally use Dragonvine Cheese with Fire Bowl Fuel lit to increase intensities on both side until reaching 100% Storm Intensity. Alternatively, Hunters can use Dragonvine Cheese with Fire Bowl Fuel lit all the way until reaching 100% Storm Intensity. The former requires more micromanagement but saves on Dragonvine Cheese and Fire Bowl Fuel while the latter requires less micromanagement but uses more Dragonvine Cheese and Fire Bowl Fuel.

A once long-lost civilization, now left in ruins. The magics that at one point coursed through the city have been released into the surrounding area, lending power to the environment. This power has created intense fluctuations in the weather and has attracted some particularly powerful mice...

Overview

Moussu Picchu is a hunting location in Hollow Heights region.
It requires the rank of Grand Duke/Grand Duchess and the Moussu Picchu Climbing Route to access.

In this location, the Weather determines the attraction pool when using Windy, Rainy, and Dragonvine cheeses.

Wind Mice drop Arcanevine. Rain Mice drop Shadowvine. Those 2 loot can be combined to make Dragonvine.
Dragonvine Mice drop Dragon Scale needed to purchase most shop items.

Weather Mechanic

In this location, a Weather mechanic is used.

  • There are 2 meters, Wind and Rain, which have their intensity measured in "%".
    • The range is 0 - 100%.
    • The intensity can be divided to 4 levels:
      • Low: 0 - 34%
      • Medium: 35 - 79%
      • High: 80 - 99%
      • Max: 100%
  • The outcome of each hunt affects the intensities.
    • Catching a Wind Wanderer increases Wind intensity by 3% and decreases Rain intensity by 3%.
    • Catching a Rain Roamer increases Rain intensity by 3% and decreases Wind intensity by 3%.
    • Catching a Storm Dragon increases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
    • Catching a Fungal Feeder or Potion Brewer decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
    • Failing to attract a mouse decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 3%.
    • Failing to catch a mouse decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 2%, with some exceptions:
      • Failing to catch a Wind Warrior decreases Wind intensity by 10% instead of 2%.
      • Failing to catch a Rainmancer decreases Rain intensity by 10% instead of 2%.
      • Failing to catch a Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen decreases both Wind and Rain intensities by 15% instead of 2%.
  • The weather intensities determines the attraction pool.
    • Wind intensity determines Wind Wanderer attraction pool.
    • Rain intensity determines Rain Roamer attraction pool.
    • Storm intensity, which is the lower intensity between Wind and Rain, determines Storm Dragon attraction pool.
  • Using Fire Bowl Fuel prevents the intensities from decreasing.

Hunting Strategy

Hunting Tips by Larry

*Phew!* I never thought I would make the climb! Glad to see you up here, hunter!

Welcome to Moussu Picchu! I knew it would be just a matter of time before we found this land of legend ever since we first stumbled through the Labyrinth!

Up here the weather is quite unpredictable and seems to be kept in check by the local Moussu Picchu Inhabitants.

The Wind Wanderer mice are linked with the Arcane energies of the wind. You will need to use an Arcane trap to best capture this group! As for the Rain Roamer mice, the energy that comes from dark rain clouds is linked to Shadow traps, which will be needed to catch them.

Arming basic cheese (or even better: Glowing Gruyere) will attract the Fungal Feeder and Potion Brewer mice. These mice can drop crafting items and special potions that will create storm-based cheese to help attract the Wind and Rain mice! The Fungal Feeder mice will drop crafting items for Glowing Gruyere.

Catching mice from their respected groups will alter the weather up here on the plateau. Wind mice will make it windier and the Rain mice will make it rainier. As the weather gets worse, stronger mice from each group will appear while the weaker ones will go and seek shelter.

These stronger mice can drop powerful vines collected from the flora that grow when the weather intensifies. These vines will be required to craft Dragonvine Cheese, a powerful bait that will beckon forth the powerful Storm Dragon mice.

If the wind and rain get too strong, both forces together will create a powerful storm. During this period, the most powerful Storm Dragon mice will appear! Hope you brought your Draconic traps and charms!

Hope you brought your rain coat and boots! Not sure if it will help here, though... Good luck, hunter!
