Lagoon
The enticing blue water hypnotizes hunters, distracting them from the dangerous mice that take up residence nearby. The terrain that surrounds the Lagoon is extremely unsteady, comprised of jagged rocks and slick moss. High up in the trees that surround the Lagoon are the nests of Harpy mice who act as a plague to all hunters, stealing their cheese, gold and crippling their courage. Some mice here are not attracted to conventional bait. It is highly recommended that a hunter use Gnarled cheese when hunting at the Lagoon.
Description and Requirements
The Lagoon is a location in the Whisker Woods region requiring a minimum rank of Grandmaster and the map to the Lagoon, obtained by successfully catching a Fairy carrying the map in the Great Gnarled Tree, to enter. Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.

There are no shops available in the Lagoon. Shops for the Whisker Woods region can be found in the Great Gnarled Tree.

- Highlighted mice are less than 1% of the population and are infrequently encountered in this location.
Hunting Strategy
Hunters have several Trap Setup Options for the Lagoon. In this location, there are mice of four different power types (Hydro, Physical, Shadow, and Tactical). There are currently no traps that are effective against both Shadow and Tactical mice, so the hunter needs to pick the trap with the power type of the most desired mice. Alternatively, the hunter may consider using the luckiest available trap. Gnarled and Wicked Gnarly cheese are the only cheeses that are consistently effective in attracting the mice that are common in this location.

To be successful here you will need Gnarled cheese, else you will find yourself having trouble attracting mice to your trap. If you need more Gnarled cheese, head back to the Great Gnarled Tree to collect potions from the mice there.
Dwelling in the water is the fearsome Hydra mouse. The Hydra originates from the Ocean to the East, where it is known for being the cause of many shipwrecks. For this reason, the Hydra is known for dropping many nautical items. If you have your sea legs, try hunting the Hydra. You may just discover the mysteries of the ocean in the process.
