The scientists of the nearby Laboratory would often come to the Mousoleum to harvest 'spare parts' for their various creations. This grim hunting location is now haunted by spirits of slain mice. The mice of this location seem almost unable to resist radioactive cheese. |
Overview
The Mousoleum is a location in the Burroughs region requiring a minimum rank of Master and the Tattered Mousoleum Map Piece to access.
In the Mousoleum, Hunters are tasked to build a Barricade so as to lure out mice that drop the necessary ingredients required for crafting cheese that will attract the boss mouse in the location.
The Barricade gets damaged as the Hunter hunts in the Mousoleum and will eventually become completely destroyed if not repaired. It must then be rebuilt by the Hunter.
Mousoleum Mice
All mice in the Mousoleum are weak to Shadow weapons to some degree.
Arcane, Forgotten, Physical, and Tactical weapons are generally less effective against mice in the Mousoleum, though very strong traps may perform well.
The Grave Robber Mouse is primarily weak to Law weapons, but is weak to all other power types (except Rift) and should not be difficult to catch with Shadow weapons.
Cheese Preference and Loot
Radioactive Blue Cheese, Rancid Radioactive Blue or Magical Rancid Radioactive Blue attracts almost all of the mice in the Mousoleum.
Moon Cheese or Crescent Cheese is required to attarct the Lycan Mouse and repels a number of other mice.
Undead Emmental or Undead String Emmental is required to attract the Grave Robber and Zombot Unipire mice and repels a number of other mice.
Crimson Cheese is required to attract Mousevina von Vermin and will increase the attraction rate of the Coffin Zombie.
Hunting Strategy
All mice in the Mousoleum are weak to Shadow weapons.
The Mousoleum is the first area Hunters will encounter that is inhabited by mice that are primarily weak to Shadow weapons, as such, Hunters may wish to purchase a Shadow weapon from the Trapsmith in the Mousoleum if they do not already have one.
Almost all mice in the Mousoleum are attracted to Radioactive Blue Cheese.
Hunters should hunt in the Laboratory to find Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions to create Radioactive Blue Cheese.
Using Radioactive Blue Cheese, the Hunter should capture the various Zombie mice and collect Cemetery Slats to build a Barricade.
When the Barricade has been built, the Hunter will be able to collect Crimson Curds from mice, which are used to craft Crimson Cheese.
The Crimson Cheese should then be used to capture Mousevina von Vermin, which drops Shredded Furoma Map Piece.
The Barricade can only be built when the Hunter has collected at least 30 Cemetery Slats. 30 Cemetery Slats will be consumed to build the Barricade, representing its total "health".
When the Barricade has been built, any excess Cemetery Slats that the Hunter has collected or looted subsequently can be used to repair it and delay it from being completely destroyed.
The amount of Cemetery Slats consumed to repair the Barricade will be the amount that the Hunter has or the amount required to repair it to full "health" (30 Cemetery Slats), whichever is lesser.
Each hunt that the Hunter takes when the Barricade has been built will damage it and reduce its "health". Before the Barricade is destroyed, it can also be abandoned, leading to its total destruction, by clicking the "x" next to the "Repair Button" on HUD.
The following table lists the damage taken by the Barricade per hunt, represented by the number of Cemetery Slats used.
Outcome of hunt | Cemetery Slats used |

Catch | 1 |
Failure to Catch | 2 |
Failure to Attract | 2 |
Hunting Tips by Larry
Brrr... This place gives me the creeps!
Zombies are crawling all over the Mousoleum! Running rampant after rising from their graves, they act as a physical barrier between you and the stronger mice residing within their tombs. Lucky for us, the zombies, being freshly risen, still have bits and pieces of wood stuck to them from their coffins that we can use to our advantage!
It’s dangerous to hunt in the Mousoleum, but the mice here come with a large reward for their capture. Mousoleum mice have a taste for Radioactive Blue Cheese and can only be defeated by a Shadow trap. Radioactive Blue Cheese is made by using potions that Laboratory mice drop, and Shadow traps are available for purchase at the Trapsmith.
Capture zombie mice and use the Cemetery Slats that you collect to build a barricade, keeping the zombies at bay. With the barricade up, you will now be able to explore the tombs where the more powerful ghostly, ghoulish and vampiric mice reside.
While hunting within the tombs, keep your eyes peeled for Crimson Curd. This is the main ingredient in Crimson Cheese, which the vampiric mice just can't seem to get enough of!
And finally, be wary of Mousevina Von Vermin. She commands the undead in this area and holds the map piece that will safely guide you through the twisting paths of the Mousoleum towards the calmer lands of Furoma. Capturing her will be quite the accomplishment!
