The scientists of the nearby Laboratory would often come to the Mousoleum to harvest 'spare parts' for their various creations. This grim hunting location is now haunted by spirits of slain mice. The mice of this location seem almost unable to resist radioactive cheese. |
Overview
The Mousoleum is a location in the Burroughs region requiring a minimum rank of Master and either the Tattered Mousoleum Map Piece or Repaired Mousoleum Map Piece to enter.
The Mousoleum is the first area Hunters will encounter that is inhabited by mice that are primarily weak to Shadow weapons.
Radioactive Blue Cheese and Undead Emmental is required to attract almost all mice in the Mousoleum.
Mice in this location can steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
Mousoleum Mice
All mice in the Mousoleum are weak to Shadow weapons to some degree.
Arcane, Forgotten, Physical, and Tactical weapons are generally less effective against mice in the Mousoleum, though very strong traps may perform well.
The Grave Robber Mouse is primarily weak to Law weapons, but is weak to all other power types (except Rift) and should not be difficult to catch with Shadow weapons.
Cheese Preference and Loot
Radioactive Blue Cheese attracts almost all of the mice in the Mousoleum.
Moon Cheese and Crescent Cheese increases the attraction rate of the Lycan Mouse and repels a number of other mice.
Undead Emmental Cheese is required to attract the Grave Robber and Zombot Unipire mice and repels a number of other mice.
Mice with Special Requirements
- M400 – This mouse will sometimes be available in the Mousoleum when Hunters are actively working an M400 Hunting Research Assignment. It is attracted only to Fusion Fondue which will not attract any other mice. It drops a wide variety of loot.
Hunting Strategy
All mice in the Mousoleum are weak to Shadow weapons.
Almost all mice in the Mousoleum are attracted to Radioactive Blue Cheese. Hunters should hunt in the Laboratory to find potions to create Radioactive Blue Cheese.
Undead Emmental is required to attract the Grave Robber and Zombot Unipire mice and will reduce the mouse population to just The Shadow Clan mice (except the Giant Snail and Lycan).
Moon Cheese and Crescent Cheese will increase the attraction rate of the Lycan Mouse and reduce the mouse population to just The Shadow Clan mice (except the Giant Snail).
Standard Cheeses very rarely attract mice in the Mousoleum and it is recommended that Hunters not use them in this location unless they wish to accumulate Stale Cheese.
Adventure Book
Hunters can Survive the Mousoleum by catching a Lycan Mouse in the Mousoleum to find a Shredded Furoma Map Piece.
Library Assignments
- M400 Bait Research Assignment - This assignment may require Hunters to track down specific items from Mousoleum mice in order to complete it.
- M400 Hunting Research Assignment - This assignment may require capturing the M400 in the Mousoleum.
- Zurreal Trap Research Assignment - This assignment requires Hunters to collect 3 Ectoplasmic Essence from Ghost mice in the Mousoleum.
Tournaments
Mousoleum mice are worth points during some Tournaments.
Treasure Maps
Many mice in the Mousoleum are often found on Mousoleum Treasure Maps and Relic Hunter Treasure Maps.
Hunting tips by Larry
Brrr. . . this place gives me the creeps!
It’s dangerous to hunt in the Mousoleum, but the mice here come with a large reward for their capture. Mousoleum mice have a taste for Radioactive Blue cheese and can only be contained by a Shadow trap. Radioactive Blue cheese is made by using potions that Laboratory mice drop, and Shadow traps are available for purchase in Digby.
Listen closely for the howls of the fearsome Lycan mouse... These beasts recently migrated down from the North, and may hold the key to finding new hunting locations.
Shops
There are no shops available in the Mousoleum. Shops for the Burroughs region can be found in the Town of Digby and Bazaar.
