Slightly secluded from the human population, the Meadow is mostly inhabited by the more timid breeds of mice. Considered somewhat of a safe haven for novice mouse hunters who hate to see their cheese stolen.

Overview

The Meadow is the starting point for every hunter and is the only location that a Novice Hunter can access.

Mice in the Meadow cannot steal gold, points, or extra cheese.

Hunters accessing the Meadow for the first time will only have access to Physical weapons, but the mice here have a weakness to all Power Types.

New Hunters will see this message in the Hunter's Journal:

I have been hired by the King of Gnawnia to catch mice.
These mice are like none I've seen before! I've been warned about mice made of diamond, savvy pirate mice and even dangerous zombie mice!

Mice

All mice in this area are from the Indigenous Mice group and are weak to all Power Types.

Cheese Preference and Loot

Standard Cheese attracts most mice in the Meadow.
White Cheddar Cheese will reduce the mouse population by repelling the Brown, Grey, Mole, and White mice.
SUPER|brie+ will attract all mice in the Meadow.

Hunting tips by Larry

Welcome to the Meadow! This calm retreat is a favorite relaxation spot of Gnawnia's busy citizens. The majority of the mice that are found here are fairly tame and easy to catch, making it a great place to hunt while you save up for a more powerful trap.

The Meadow has two shops. The first is the Cheese Shoppe where you can buy bait for your trap, and the second is the Trapsmith, where you can buy new trap parts.

When you reach the title of Recruit, try hunting in the Town of Gnawnia, where more breeds of mice await!. Visit the Travel page to access your map and travel to other hunting grounds.

Looking for more advice? Speak with your fellow hunters on the discussion boards. There are sure to be many experienced hunters willing to lend a hand!

Good luck, brave MouseHunter!
