In recent days, huge chunks of ice have washed ashore the beaches of Gnawnia. Worse, dangerous mice have floated ashore alongside and are attacking the walls of Gnawnia!
Head to the beaches and stop the invasion! You must be the rank of Lord/Lady to travel to this dangerous area. |
Overview
The Slushy Shoreline is a location in the Rodentia region requiring a minimum rank of Lord/Lady and the Icebreaker License to enter.
The Icebreaker License can be obtained from the Harbour Cartographer or S.S. Huntington IV Cartographer for 145,000 gold.
Hunters will need to arm a Hydro weapon to catch the mice from the Slushy Shoreline.
Softserve Charms are required to attract certain mice at the Slushy Shoreline.
Mice from the Slushy Shoreline cannot steal gold, points, or extra cheese.
Mice
All mice in the Slushy Shoreline are part of Icewing's Invasion and are weak only to Hydro weapons. Certain mice can only be attracted using Softserve Charms which can be purchased from the Slushy Shoreline Charm Shoppe.
Cheese Preference, Charm Usage, and Loot
Standard Cheese will attract all mice except the Living Ice Mouse, which can only be attracted with SUPER|brie+.
Softserve Charms are required to attract the Icebreaker, Saboteur, Snow Sniper, and Yeti mice.
War Scrap is used to purchase items from Slushy Shoreline and Iceberg shops for use in the Iceberg.
Mice attracted to Softserve Charms drop loot required for purchasing the Steam Laser Mk. I, a weapon necessary for crafting the upgraded Steam Laser weapons that provide hunting bonuses in the Slushy Shoreline and Iceberg locations.

Mice with Special Requirements

The Ancient Relic will be taken by the Relic Hunter Mouse in exchange for a Relic Hunter Scroll Case.
- M400 – This mouse will sometimes be available at the Slushy Shoreline when Hunters are actively working an M400 Hunting Research Assignment. It is attracted only to Fusion Fondue which will not attract any other mice. It drops a wide variety of loot.

Hunting tips by Larry
Brr, it's cold! But don't let the icy chill stop you, hunter!
New and dangerous mice are flooding the shores of Gnawnia, and we need you to help out! The mice seem to be particularly vulnerable to Hydro-based traps, so pull yours out of storage and put it to use.
If you don't have a Hydro trap, or don't feel yours is up to snuff, check the Trapsmith! The King's best trap researchers have been at work preparing for this invasion.

History and Trivia
- 7 May 2012: The Slushy Shoreline was released a week after the introduction of the first Iceberg mice: the Incompetent Ice Climber, Polar Bear, Snow Soldier and Wolfskie.
- 14 May 2012: The Icebreaker, Saboteur, Snow Sniper and Yeti mice are added to the Slushy Shoreline.
- 16 May 2012: The Living Ice Mouse is added to the Slushy Shoreline.
- 14-24 May 2012: All mice in the Slushy Shoreline dropped Interlocking Hull Fragments during the upgrade of the S.S. Huntington II to the S.S. Huntington III.
- For the first two weeks of the location's release, the following text was originally in place of the current, last paragraph of "Hunting Tips by Larry":
- Further, some of the less-common mice have raided the King's private hunting supply. Gold, SUPER|brie+, and King's Credits have been found in the War Supplies they are carrying, and they can be yours if you track down those mice!
The King's scouts have counted a week's worth of War Supplies, so get out there and catch these mice while there is still time.
- 17 October 2017: The Slushy Shoreline was relocated from the Gnawnia region to the Rodentia region.
