Overview
The Sunken City is a location in the Rodentia region requiring a minimum rank of Count/Countess and the Sunken Souvenir to enter. Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
The Sunken Souvenir can be purchased from the Muridae Market Cartographer for 228,000 gold and 90 Molten Glass.
To begin hunting in the Sunken City, Hunters must gather Oxygen Canisters from mice encountered while Docked. Hunters will need a minimum of 10 Oxygen Canisters to Dive and the more Oxygen Canisters Hunters have, the longer they will be able to stay submerged. While on a Dive Hunters can gather the ingredients necessary for crafting Fishy Fromage. Fishy Fromage will only attract mice while Docked and allows the attraction of mice that drop greater numbers of Oxygen Canisters.
The Sunken City mice are all a part of the Deep Sea Dwellers group and are divided into seven subgroups: Barnacled Bunch, Coral Corral, Finned Fiend, Predator Pack, Scale Society, Sunken City Citizens, and Treasure Troop. Sunken City mice are weak only to Hydro weapons.

Docked
Initially, the Hunter's submerging sea shuttle is Docked. While Docked, Hunters can use Standard Cheese or Fishy Fromage to hunt the Sunken City Citizens mice that drop Oxygen Canisters as loot.
HUD
The Heads-Up Display shows the following information:
- The Hunter's current inventory of Damaged Coral Fragments, Mouse Scales, and Barnacles
- The Hunter's current inventory of Empowered Anchor Charms, Water Jet Charms, and Oxygen Canisters
- The Hunter's current inventory of Fishy Fromage
- The button to start a Dive
- When starting a dive, the following message appears in the Hunter's Journal:
- I equipped my diving gear and submerged myself into the depths of the ocean surrounding the Sunken City.
- When starting a dive, the following message appears in the Hunter's Journal:
Dive
To Dive, Hunters must spend 10 Oxygen Canisters and will need more to stay submerged. While Diving, each hunt will consume one Oxygen Canister. A hunter can leave the Sunken City area without losing Dive progress. Oxygen Canisters are not consumed while Hunters are away from the Sunken City. Hunters are returned to the Docked zone when they run out of Oxygen Canisters. Hunters can also end a Dive by selecting the Return option from the HUD. Ending a Dive will not cost the Hunter any Oxygen Canisters.
A dive can last indefinitely, provided the Hunter does not run out of Oxygen Canisters.
Progress through the Dive is made with each attraction:
- Catch - 30 meters
- Catch with any Anchor Charm - 10 meters
- Catch with Water Jet Charm or Smart Water Jet Charm - 500 meters
- Catch with Brilliant Water Jet Charm - End of current zone
- Failure to Catch - 10 meters
- Failure to Attract - No progress

- In the center, the Hunter's submerging sea shuttle is shown, as well as 1,000 meters of the Zones around the Hunter's location
- Clicking on the submerging sea shuttle opens the Sonar Periscope, which shows a minimum of 1,250 meters and a maximum of 1,750 meters of the Zones around the Hunter's location

There are seven zone types. Default zones are unlabeled, but all other Zones have a colored dot that appears next to their names in the HUD to indicate the type of Zone.

Obtaining Fishy Fromage
Hunters must Dive in order to obtain Barnacles,, Damaged Coral Fragments, and Mouse Scales, which are necessary for purchasing or crafting Fishy Fromage.
The total cost to purchase or craft Fishy Fromage is identical, unless Hunters loot instead of purchase Brined Curd for use in crafting.

Hunting Strategy
Hunters must acquire Oxygen Canisters by hunting mice in the Sunken City while Docked. Hunters should gather enough Oxygen Canisters to stay submerged long enough on a Dive to gather the Barnacles, Damaged Coral Fragments, and Mouse Scales necessary to craft or purchase Fishy Fromage. Fishy Fromage can then be used while Docked to gather larger numbers of Oxygen Canisters, which will allow Hunters to reach greater distances while on a Dive. Certain mice cannot be encountered until Hunters have traveled more than 10,000 meters during a Dive and mice found at greater distances offer greater rewards.
Hunters will not lose Dive progress if they leave the Sunken City, but all progress will be lost if they choose to end a Dive by using the Return button found on the HUD.
Hunters can gather Sand Dollars while on a Dive to use as currency in the Sunken City Shoppes.
Adventure Book
Hunters can Explore the Sunken City by catching a Tritus Mouse while on a Dive in the Sunken City.
Tournaments
Sunken City mice are worth points during some Tournaments.
Treasure Maps
Many mice in the Sunken City are often found on Deep Sea Diving Treasure Maps and Relic Hunter Treasure Maps.
Hunting tips by Larry
Welcome to the Sunken City! A civilization lost long ago to the depths of the ocean. Now, overrun with mice, they have taken over and restored functionality to use as a secret base of underwater operations. Using advanced submarine science, it looks like they have been trying to recruit the aquatic mice and gather underwater resources.
The King needs you to use one of these submerging sea shuttles and explore the deep sea to see how far the reach of the Sunken City goes and to stop those mice waiting to strike from the sea!
Before you can begin a dive, you'll need to collect some Oxygen Canisters by hunting in the city. Once you have some Oxygen Canisters saved up, begin a dive! While exploring the ocean floor you'll find ingredients to craft the valuable Fishy Fromage: a bait the mice in the Sunken City find especially tempting!
The ahem, "unique" smell of Fishy Fromage can't quite stink while underwater, so avoid arming any while diving. Instead, use it at the Sunken City where you'll attract a greater number of mice that drop oxygen! If you manage your resources well, you may find that you're better able to resupply yourself after each dive, so dive early, and dive often!
The further away from the city you get, the more valuable treasures you're likely to find. However, far away from the city are also where the most powerful predators lie, so be careful!
